Family Day is a chance to spend quality time together, but many families are looking for an activity that works for all ages and does not depend on the weather.
On Monday, February 16, The Military Museums will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., offering a full day of indoor, family friendly programming designed to help families learn and explore together. Regular admission applies.
Family Day programming focuses on hands on learning and shared discovery. Families can explore galleries at their own pace and choose activities that suit their interests.

Family Day also features a special theatre presentation and book launch for NITANIS: The Story of Mary Greyeyes Reid, celebrating the life of the first Indigenous woman to serve in the Canadian Women’s Army Corps. The presentation is family friendly and included with admission.
On Family Day only, families who upgrade to a family membership on site can apply the cost of their admission toward the membership.
Yes. Families are encouraged to purchase admission tickets in advance to help avoid wait times. On site admission is subject to capacity.
