

With generous funding support from the Directorate of History and Heritage, The Military Museums was able to partner with Alberta-based company Fairway Inc. to design and build a brand-new website from the ground up. Developed using current best practices in web design and technology, the new site is faster, more accessible, and easier to navigate than ever before.
This refreshed website allows us to better serve our visitors by providing clear, up-to-date information about the Museum, how to plan a visit, and what’s happening across our galleries. From upcoming events and exhibitions to educational programming and facility rentals, the site is designed to be a comprehensive and engaging resource for all audiences.
Behind the scenes, the new platform also significantly improves how we manage content. The introduction of a modern Content Management System (CMS) allows multiple staff members to make timely updates, ensuring information remains accurate, relevant, and responsive to the needs of our guests.
We would also like to acknowledge the important work that brought us to this point. We extend our sincere thanks to volunteer Ian Watson, who designed and maintained the previous TMM website for many years. His dedication, technical expertise, and countless hours of effort were instrumental in establishing The Military Museums’ original online presence, and we are deeply grateful for his long-standing support.
