Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry (PPCLI), is one of the three regular force infantry regiments of the Canadian Army, and is one of Canada's most storied military regiments.

Raised by Andrew Hamilton Gault in 1914, the PPCLI has served in both World Wars, the Korean War, the War in Afghanistan and has participated in virtually all of Canada’s international peacekeeping operations since the end of the Second World War. The PPCLI are housed in CFB Edmonton, Alberta, and CFB Shilo, Manitoba.

Their unofficial motto is, "First in the Field".
