Birthday parties are held on Saturdays and Sundays (weekdays available upon special request).
Due to Covid-19, birthday parties are currently cancelled until further notice.

Note: We request that bookings are made at least two (2) weeks in advance.
Recommended Age: 6 and up.
Payment can be made via credit card, debit, cash or cheque (made out to "The Military Museums Foundation"). Non refundable deposit is requested upon booking. GST is included. Cancellations must be made one week in advance.
Birthday Parties at The Military Museums are provided by The Military Museums Foundation (TMMF) and all proceeds support education programs provided by TMMF.
Birthday Party Information
All parties will be hosted by one of our educators who will help to make sure your event is exciting, engaging and educational.
When you arrive, you’ll be greeted in the atrium where you will get a quick introduction to the museums. From there you will be brought to your private room where you will leave your belongings and refreshments, which is booked just for you!
Within your private room guests are free to enjoy their cake, open presents, and safely leave their belongings while they enjoy our birthday program packages.
Birthday Party Costs
- Deposit (based on first 10 birthday guests) $180.00
- Two required adults accompanying the birthday guests Free
- Additional children $18 each
- Additional adults $8 each
What you'll bring to the party:
Two adults (other than the educator) to accompany the party at all times.
Food and refreshments for your guests, ready to eat. Sorry there is no fridge or stove available.
Birthday Party Programs
1. Marching Drill and Uniform Try On
Identity, pride, and teamwork are crucial to the military. In this program, the kids get to experience marching drill in authentic uniforms and lern how and why uniforms and drill promote teamwork and on the spot thinking.
2. Boats, Bells, Banners
Experience Naval communication and Alberta's role in the Royal Canadian Navy. Guests learn to spell their names using naval flags on a banner that's theirs to take home afterwards.
3. Artefact Handling
Your birthday party will get the opportunity to handle real Canadian Armed Forces artefacts such as helmets, boots, and gas masks ranging from World war One to Afghanistan.
