Electrical and Mechanical Engineers

The Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (EME) is a personnel branch that came about in 1944. Their founding was a direct result of the increased mechanization of warfare, and a subsequent need to have a single corps responsible for the service and maintenance of military machinery. Their branch includes trades for: Vehicles, Weapons, Electronic-Optronic and Materials technicians.

Motto, "Arte et Marte", means "By skill and by fighting".
