Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps

The Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps (RCOP) can trace its roots back to 1871, when it was part of the Canadian Stores Department. The corps was primarily responsible for supplying and transporting all material goods for the Canadian Army including clothing, weaponry, spare parts and artillery.

The RCOP was deactivated in 1968, and merged with their Naval and Air Force counterparts of the Canadian Armed Forces.

Motto, "Honi soit qui mal y pense", a French phrase meaning "Shamed be he who thinks evil of it".
