Looking for an EPIC way to spend Family Day? Forget the usual plans—step into history with us at The Military Museums! Whether you're a history buff or just love hands-on fun, we’ve got something for everyone!
TMM is bringing you extra Family Day fun this year. Hold genuine artifacts, join a gallery tour, watch the Black Powder demonstration, trace your military genealogy, and get answers to "Ask a Conservator" questions about preserving personal historical artifacts.
Kids can do crafts, play a military board game, or head off on a scavenger hunt.

Re-enactments and Demonstrations
Join us on Saturday and Sunday, August 16th and 17th, as almost 2000 years of warfare comes to life in a weekend of scripted battle re-enactments and demonstrations.
Viking raids, medieval duels, gladiatorial combat, musketry skills and cannonades are some of the demonstrations and exhibitions that will be available. You will be able to interact with all the participants, who will be dressed in period costumes and uniforms that will transport you back in time.

Here is the latest Summer Skirmish schedule. The events run in the same order both days. Note that the schedule is subject to change prior to the event.
Parking
Parking will be available at Master's Academy and the Flames Community Centre both located on Amiens Road SW. Accessibility parking will also be available on the grounds at The Military Museums in our East Lot as you arrive through our main gate.
