1st and 2nd Survey Regiments

1st and 2nd Survey Regiments
The Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery (RCA) can trace its roots in Canada to before Confederation when the first artillery company was formed in Quebec in 1750. From The War of 1812 to the War in Afghanistan, the RCA has participated in every major conflict in Canada’s history. Today it is composed of Regular and Reserve forces, providing field artillery and personnel for both international and domestic operations.
The 1st and 2nd Survey Regiments (RCA) were part of I Canadian Corp and II Canadian Corp respectively during the Second World War.
The RCA has two mottos, "Ubique", which is Latin for "Everywhere", and "Quo fas et gloria ducunt", which is Latin for, "Whither right and glory lead".
