Propaganda! Harbingers For Today

Propaganda! Harbingers For Today, demonstrates how First World War propaganda shaped Canada in a global context, catalyzing expansive development of the nation during the 1920s and 30s.

Raising topical questions that are still pertinent today, themes include conflict, gender, Indigenous Peoples, migration, and labour, with a particular focus on Alberta.

The project showcases holdings from the University of Calgary’s publicly available Special Collections and Archives, in Libraries and Cultural Resources.

Co-curated by Kim Geraldi and Dick Averns.
