Battle of Britain Commemoration

Please join 783 (Calgary) Wing of the Royal Canadian Air Force Association (RCAFA) and the Air Force Museum of Alberta as we commemorate the 86th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain, honouring the courage and sacrifice of those who served during this pivotal moment in aviation history.

The outdoor parade is free to attend and no registration is required.

Mural of Honour Connection

The Military Museums’ Mural of Honour contains several panels that reference the Battle of Britain. One particular panel, number 06, describes how the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan, or BCATP, directed Canada to provide the facilities to train aircrew from every corner of the Commonwealth to serve in the Allied War effort.
