The air is electric as the nation prepares for the 1936 "Non-Trademark Bi-Annual International Athletic Competition, Summer Edition" in Berlin! The spectacle of this incredible event could be just what Canada needs in the depths of economic depression and international tension. At The Military Museums, the excitement has already begun as a group of young paddlers race to make Canada’s Canoeing Team. But today’s competition may have been anything but healthy. Young Rowan Ryan has taken the gold, but lost their life! Can you help investigators unravel a tangled web of jealousy, deception, and vengeance to bring their killer to justice?
The Military Museums Foundation invites you to join us at our fifth annual Mystery at the Museums event. Compete with your team in a series of challenges designed to put your detective skills to the test and solve the case of a murder most foul. This year’s event features a cast of suspicious characters, an all-new set of mind-bending puzzles, and prizes brought to you by a variety of local businesses. As the evening’s events take place in the 1930’s, we encourage guests to dress the part, with additional prizes available for the best costumes. Prepare for a murder mystery of historic proportions, with danger lurking around every corner!

On Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, The Military Museums will host its inaugural Major David Peabody Memorial Walk & Ruck. This event commemorates the life and achievements of Major Peabody—soldier, leader, and advocate for historical education.
Open to both civilian and military participants, the walk/ruck will take place on a 1-km loop within the museum grounds. Participants may complete as many laps as they wish while enjoying the sights of historic military vehicles, artifacts, and community spirit.
Donations appreciated, with proceeds supporting the conservation and preservation of museum artifacts, displays, and exhibits. A minimum donation of $25 is required to receive a tax receipt. All donors receive free museum admission on 8 Nov 2025.
