Sheilah MacDonald

Sheilah Macdonald (1920 - 2013) was born in 1920 in Winnipeg Manitoba. In 1942 Sheilah enlisted with the WCRNS at the age of 21. She was one of the original group of WCRNS in the Canadian navy. The Women's Royal Canadian Naval Service (WRCNS) were popularly known as the "Wrens".

Sheilah was commissioned as a Naval officer in 1943. She served at HMCS Kings, Halifax, NS; HMCS Conestoga, Galt ON; HMCS Preston, Preston, ON and HMCS York, Toronto, ON.
