Cpl (Ret’d) Diane Bruce was born in Ottawa. She enrolled in 763 (Ottawa) Communication Regiment, and assisted during the ice storms in Eastern Canada in 1998. That was the same year she deployed to the Golan Heights. She moved West and became the chief clerk of 749 (Red Deer) Communication Squadron before retiring in 2003.
