Colonel (Retired) Roy Boehli enrolled in the Canadian Armed Forces in 1978. Born in Calgary, he started his career with the King’s Own Calgary Regiment before reclassifying to Military Police 10 years later. He commanded 14 Service Battalion 2003-2005, and 41 Canadian Brigade Group 2011-2013 before retiring from the CAF. He deployed to Bosnia in 2002; served with HQ USCENTCOM in Tampa, Florida in 2006; and deployed to Afghanistan in 2011.
